How to use
- Set BPM and time signature (e.g. 4/4 = beats per bar 4, beat unit 4).
- Type a bar count to get the length, or a length to get the bars needed.
- With a beat unit of 8, one beat is an eighth note (e.g. 6/8).
The formula
Seconds per beat = (60 ÷ BPM) × (4 ÷ beat unit). One bar = beat × beats-per-bar. Total = bar × number of bars.
